An entire village lives and loves poppy seeds!

The poppy village Armschlag is a small, enchanted village on the B36 between Ottenschlag and Zwettl (municipality Sallingberg), which has named the Waldviertler Grey Poppy its favourite flower and invites its visitors to experience poppies with all their senses: Discover the poppy trail, enjoy a journey on the Poppy Express tractor trailer and don´t miss a visit of the poppy gardens or get inspired by the longest poppy painting by Karl Moser.

You are welcome to shop in the poppy shop (where you can buy the best grey and white poppy seeds – whole or ground, poppy capsules, poppy seed oils, poppy seed recipe brochures or sweet treats with poppy seeds). Take a look behind the scenes in the poppy seed mill Weinmann and enjoy the spectacular flowering poppy fields in July (which make for the most beautiful selfies!)
