If you enjoy exploring nature on foot and hiking is one of your passions, you should definitely take a "Jauerling tour". The summit area of the majestic Jauerling is the heart of the Jauerling-Wachau Nature Park and also the highest point on the entire Danube.

Here you can visit historical and modern facilities such as the Nature Park House, the lookout point, the Stauferhütte and the ski lift. The summit circuit connects these facilities with a themed trail that provides information on the history of the Jauerling, the nature park communities and nature, environmental protection, landscape and agriculture in the nature park.

If you have your cell phone to hand, you should download the Jauerling app, as the themed trail "and above us the wide, wide sky - the Jauerling summit circuit" can be hiked and experienced with an "app". The app can be downloaded directly on site(www.locandy.com/qr/jauerling). There is a WLAN connection at the mountain station/Stauferhütte and at the Nature Park House. The app then uses your GPS data to recognize where you are and accompanies you with interesting information along 10 stations around the Jauerlinger summit.
