Living history!
Discover the Maria Laach parish church on the southern slope of the Jauerling at an altitude of 540 meters. It is one of the few works of art in the country whose medieval interior has been preserved almost undiminished.
The monumental stepped hall from the 15th century is one of the most impressive late Gothic church buildings in Lower Austria.
With its Baroque interior, the church is home to many art treasures, such as the Gothic double-winged altar from 1480.
A must-see!
